In this wonderful TEDxSF talk, Mel Robbins shares some of the most inspirational words that I have heard in a while. To “stop saying everything is fine” was one of my takeaways. How often do we tell people, or even ourselves, that everything is fine. If it’s not, do the work to try and resolve the problem. That may be taking the steps to make a plan, sticking to your workout routine, having a hard conversation with someone, or just changing your mind about something. But it is not fine. Something needs to be done and (another takeaway) you will never really “feel” like doing it.
